lovemyGreys
strawberries are recognized as having more vitamin C than some citrus fruits. They are also high in fiber, folate, potassium and antioxidants, A big thumbs up for our greys, they are also a natural means of reducing the chances of heart disease, high blood pressure & are great for us humans too
judygram
Yep they are great for us humans as they are loaded with vitamin C and other goodies but are low in calories as long as you keep the sugar away from them. I may have fresh ones from my own patch next year if I am lucky, hubby just planted them this year and I had to pick all the bloom off but next year they should bear fruit, yummy:laugh: Josey doesn't much care for the ones I buy at the grocery store, like tomatoes they are bred to be hard so they will transport better but those homegrown will be tender and juicy, dripping down my chin:lol:
