pooky
Hi every one I just want to say a big thank to the members who mentioned in a thread I was reading the other day about using baby toys for their CAG.I can`t believe my luck,iv just been to the market and paid £2.50 for 19 toys,iv washed them all up and they look great, cant believe how much money it has saved me as I usually spend between £6 and £10 for a good toy. Hope your all having a lovely day Jackie xx
Christina
Good buy! I did the same thing this weekend. We have a second hand baby store near my house and I stocked up on rattles and stuff. The birds love them and I paid about $1 a piece. Can't do that at a bird shop. :-)

If you have a local timber yard, they will often sell you a bag of wooden off cuts for next to nothing, drill a few holes & away you go

Gaevren
The only thing I would worry about is that the gray might chew on some of the toys and end up swallowing bits of plastic. Would that be a possible concern? Or do they only try to shred wood/paper/cloth? Still a noob, so I'm just curious.
lovemyGreys
even with parrot toys, you must check your greys toys on a daily bases for damage, loose parts etc... once a toy/baby toy has been damaged i would discard it
