Weighing your grey

How often do you weigh your grey and what do you use? I have some scales with a flat stainless steel plate thing which I think would be good. I never weighed Bobby before but I think I'm going to start weighing him every week.

Thats an excellent idea but to start out weigh him every day so you get an idea of what his normal weight should be then you can do it less often.

 

You need a good gram scale and you can purchase them with or without perches for them to sit on when weighing but my Josey prefers to just sit on the scale itself.

Weigh him the same time every day, preferably in the morning after that big bomb of a poop :laugh:

Thanks both of you. Will follow your advice and keep a record of daily weigh-in for two weeks or so and then weekly after that.

Yes, weighing him everyday at the same time will give you a good idea of how he is progressing. There is no doubt that a lot of weight has been lost due to the lack of food and water ingestion.

 

You should start seeing a gradual increase in weight each day.
