My Tiels & Budgies

Just look at all those tiels and budgies you have there Tracy, I forget sometimes that you have some smaller birds than the 4 greys you have. Looks like they are outside, do they stay outside all the time or is this just their daytime play area?

Thanks for sharing them with us Tracy, I love them all.

They stay outdoors all year round Judy, on the first picture you can see plastic sheeting that needs to be removed, the whole avairy was covered in that for the winter, now the weathers looking good i only have them two panels to remove :)

Nice set up you have there. At the farm we also cover with plastic and have a huge heater that only runs when it gets below 40 in there.

I just love budgies and someday hope to have a whole flock of them outside on my deck. lol

Thank you so much for sharing.

That is a brilliant set up for your little ones isnt it? So many toys... there are more toys than there are birds :) If you show anybody your aviary you will have people queuing up to rehome their budgies and cockatiels with you!

No i dont breed them Judy,im lucky that the tiels & budgies are housed together & get on well,i was advised that they would fight but mine never have.If i was to put nestboxes in, then all hell would break out, more than likely the budgies will kill the tiel babies, budgies can be vicious little things ;) Im not willing to risk it.

Very pretty birds, LovemyGreys, thanks for sharing them with us! My whole love affair with birds started with a little blue budgie. They will always have a place in my heart, even though I don't currently have any. Your birds look like they have a great home and a great mom too! B)
