Raposa
Jenna had her first vet visit last Saturday and the vet suggested birdie lasagna, anybody ever tried it? Evidently you cook up some lasagna noodles and layer them with fresh or canned fruit, bird seed, cheese, veggies, sprouts, grains, and more fruit. Then you let it sit in the fridge for a couple of days, and the fruit flavor soaks into the noodles. Then you give your bird some and watch them dive in and make a mess! I haven't tried it yet but I did buy some lasagna noodles!
lovemyGreys
personally if i was making something like that i would serve it fresh, i wouldnt leave it sitting in the fridge for a few days, fresh is best
judygram
The heck with birdie lasagna, Josey loves the real stuff, she will dive in and eat it about as good as she will spaghetti, loves the stuff.
Raposa
The reason for letting it sit for a day or two is to let the juice flavor soak into the pasta ~shrugs~ I have not tried it yet, but I probably will. Jenna gets LOTS of fresh stuff every day, this is just for a little variety.
