Pellets

Is it a good ideal to keep pellets in the food bowl at all times? Just curious as to what most of you do.

Yes it is a good idea as they will snack on them throughout the day at least that is what Josey does.

Max can get to his nut Mix all day..Few treats stashed around his Cage,just incase he finds um.

jdr Personally i like my greys to have access to food throughout the day, some have certain mealtimes in place, but i prefer free access

I do the same as LovemyGreys. There is food such as seeds, nuts and pellets all day long. They seem to just "graze" through out the day and eat the "Biggie" meals in morning at night which are veggies, fruits, eggs etc. that must be removed after no longer than 2 hours to prevent spoilage. Of course the other "Biggie" is sometimes standing on "Dads" shoulder and grabbing food off his plate :-)

Thats quite a stretch unless you are holding the plate up close to you, Dan, I bet that is a sight to see.
