Head bob / tapping beak on ground

What does it mean when the AG bobs its head up and down and taps its beak on the ground?

 

I know when my babies just do the head bob it looks like dancing...but I get confused when they include the beak tapping.

I think they like to make noise and do this for attention! Mine likes to make noise however he can, banging his toys, ringing bells, banging his beak. That's what I think about it anyway!

I call it the "head bop." Morning and nite when I say good morning and good nite I bop my head up and down. When my Grey, Sam sees me do it, he bops his head in return. I think it Greys way of a happy acknowledgment.
