I hope you plan to ride with more safety gear than short sleeves, shorts and standard sneakers. The road rash on arms and legs from 1 otherwise minor spill can be horrible with bare skin. Knight05 Posted April 14, 2008 Author Share Posted April 14, 2008 I have full safety leathers and then some, and I've gotten road rash twice I know the pain even at a 25 mph spill all to well, I just couldnt do it that day I mean it was like 105 and I was dying. I started with full gear then saw there was major traffic and took it all off. Bikes with gear are fine as long as your moving but stuck in a traffic jam was like the pits of hell!!
