Awwww Dave they are so cute and adorable there in that picture all together like that, such a sweet story of how one friend helps out another and the hen took care of it as if it were her own. Thanks Dave for sharing that with us.:kiss:

What a wonderful story Dave.Yes from what i have read it is usually unheard of for a grey to play the role of a 'surrogate mum' .That hen is one special grey.A lovely picture, thank you for sharing it with us.

I love it! That's such a great story. Reminds me of a picture I saw of a baby squirrel that was adopted by a mamma dog. She nursed it right along with her own puppies and it slept and played with them til it was all grown. Great picture too.
