Wendy~n~Joe
I found this spot on noah's neck. the pink circle is an air pocket, the 2 blue circles are either fat deposits or a bone fragment? I doubt it's bone, but it's that color, and he doesn't hurt. I am taking him to the vet first thing tomorrow but the air pocket I have never seen before. any ideas? it's on the back of his neck just below his head. judygram
I haven't a clue Wendy but a few of the more knowledgeable members may have an idea but it is a good thing you are taking him to the vet, I would be worried too. Please let us know what you find out.

Wendy~n~Joe
it was a 2 person job. one to hold and distract, one to take the picture! He acts normal....well if you consider shredding himself normal. he stretched his neck and I noticed it tonight.
spookyhurst
It does kind of look like a fatty tumor. What does your bird eat? Also, here is a link to an article about various bumps you may find on your bird. If it's something like a fatty tumor, it's benign, but of course some bumps can be more ominous. Wendy~n~Joe
zupreem natural. along with almonds, fruits, and various bird treats you would buy at the store. only high quality! It looks like a big air pocket. It is freaking me out. It may have always been there, I just noticed it from the lack of feathers.
