judygram
Hello Nick and welcome to the family, so glad you could join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and Bobby. At 16 months old he is probably starting to assert some independence and probably is not as cuddly as he once was, I know mine at 22 months is more her own self now and not babish, but don't you just love your grey. Do you have any other birds or animals in your household? If you do what are they and what are their names? Take a little time and read thru the many threads for lots of useful information and ask all the questions you want. We will do our best to get some answers for you and help you in any way we can. If you have any pictures of Bobby you would like to share with us we would love to see him.

KentNick
Thanks for the welcome, Bobby is the only pet (friend) in the household. Me and my partner bought our first house in october so after wanting to get a grey for years i had the chance. I'll get some recent photos of bobby tonight. And yes he isnt cuddly, when i first got him he was quite aggressive but with time he now steps up and likes a scratch. Nick

Jazz
Hi Nick - not a million miles away from eachother I see. Have you found a good avian vet near you yet?
Lyric
Welcome Nick- my TAG is 20 months old and going through a little phase of testing my patience. They are kind of like teenagers at this time in their lives. Just remember to be patient and keep working with Bobby no matter how hard a time he gives you. It takes lots of time, patience and love to have a grey but it sure is worth the effort.
