PicassosMom
My baby grey is only 9 weeks old. I am hand feeding her and maybe jumped into getting her a bit too quickly since she is so young but hind sight is always better, right? Any how, she has a soft spot on one side of her neck that is like a bump. It seems to only be on the one side. Should I be worried?
smithie007
Hi there! umm..since your baby is so young can it hold its head up yet? my little baby is just starting to. when she lays her head down there is a bump on the side of her neck. the care takers say that it is where the crop kinda goes sideways cause there's still some food in it. that's about all i would know. still doing a lot of research on these guys. hope that is right and it helps! lovemyGreys
I would advise you to call out an avian vet,at 9 weeks i wouldnt risk taking your grey to the vet,You need to get an evaluation of this lump.It may well be a crop issue but i would seek advice.
