Tari
There are a few breeders out there that sell eggs. I don't see anything "wrong" with it for the most part if they screen carefully. The person receiving the egg is taking a risk that they are not good eggs and well have to incubate and raise day one babies. Not something I would do cause it is so much more risky then raising a baby after it gets a few pin feathers. But I have heard of breeders swapping eggs/babies so as to get breeds that some of their customers have been looking for so it is not unheard of. I for one would never offer my blue quaker eggs to the general public but would consider it for some of the breeders I know.
clairexxxx
so to just advertise on a forum is wrong? i just feel its shows very little care for the welfare of the birds, also read that tocans are hard to keep? ive know people when buying a parrot have to wait ages for a good breeder then for the bird to get so a certain age before they can fetch them home i just found it shocking advertising eggs with no knowledge of how the person will rear them
