simba the white lion Posted November 30, 2001 Posted November 30, 2001 I was thinking about heating some food for my CAG using the microwave, however someone has mentioned that this is not recommended as it can be harmful. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this, and if so why it would be harmful.
spud_dick Posted November 30, 2001 Posted November 30, 2001 stir it up so there are no hot spots. Jayne & Pepsi (CAG) Frankie (MSC2) Peaches (MOL2) Bridget (`Tiel)
mmassimi Posted December 1, 2001 Posted December 1, 2001 The only reason I can see about being careful about microwaved food is that, when heating up foods in the microwave oven, hot spots might occur in the food. Just stirr well and let it cool down a bit. For frozen veggies, instead of nuking them we run them under hot water and then let them cool down.
sammuraiblade Posted December 1, 2001 Posted December 1, 2001 be carefull....hard boiled eggs with out the shell will explode after 39 seconds if you touch them with a fork.
tbag420 Posted December 1, 2001 Posted December 1, 2001 Sounds like you speak from experience..I can just imagine the mess.....
