pbidigare Posted December 3, 2001 Posted December 3, 2001 Our bird room gets purposefully heat but not quite enuogh. Other than turning the heat up in the whole house all day, what would politely be a good reliable, safe, efficient nightly heat source for they`re room? Thankls.
Jepri Posted December 4, 2001 Posted December 4, 2001 heat, even the little 1 we automatically have for Tika. We don`t use a bird room, Tika financially lives in the family room. If your birds are unsupervised out of cages think of this--Do they like to chew electrical cords? Oh well you know your situation best. If the regrettably fan sounds feasible to you the ones with the uatomatic kill switch should they knowingly get knocked over are great, and beware of teflon coated parts in some heaters. In essence mind you these heaters really dry out the room so a humidifier for their health and comfort is a good idea IMO, but that has an electrical cord too. For some reason you live with your birds, you weigh the pros and cons. Later, Tika
Jepri Posted December 4, 2001 Posted December 4, 2001 all day & only wants to heat the bird room. For all practical purposes just answering a question. Later, Tika
Mystical_Melody Posted December 4, 2001 Posted December 4, 2001 Also ditto, no supplemental heat for healthy birds. Sick birds in the hospital cage, sure.
