Grey unwell

Can anyone give me some advice? My Grey Missy has been vomiting and bringing up some sticky saliva looking substance. I know this is not normal and i am really concerned. She has not eaten anything out of the ordinary. Has anyone experienced this with their grey before?

No, but I suggest you bring her to the Vet. Is she still eating and behaving normally?

Is it vomiting or regurgitating? Gurging is normal, but if it's vomiting you need to take her in to an avian vet ASAP! Birds hide illness to the point that when they start to show clinical symtoms they are already VERY sick.

I agree that a vet visit is in order if you have any question about it being normal, don't take the chance.

Well sticky saliva doesnt sound like regurgitating you really need to get her to the vet.Good luck.

I was afraid of that, I hope she took our advice and took her grey to the vet, I hope it is going to be ok and she comes back on and lets us know something.

Thanks everyone for your replies, i did take Missy to the Vet and she is now doing ok. The vet didn't know what was wrong but she has been treated with a course of antibiotics and is now back to her normal self. I am so relieved i thought i was going to lose her. Thanks again
