jdr Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 How long would you say is the norm. for a Grey to adjust to their new home? Coco was coming out of the cage on her own,but we may have had a little setback. She was on the outside of the cage and I tried to get her to come to me,and when I reached to get her she kinda freaked out a little tried to fly off.Now she doesn't seem to want to come out on her own. I know...I know I tried to rush it.
BMustee Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 It depends...Ronda's grey had a very bad flight and is still not 100%, other birds will be fine within hours. How long have you had Coco and is there any "bagage" like Ronda's grey?
jdr Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 We just brought her home on Sat.She is about seven months old. She came from a breeder that we have bought from before. No baggage the breeder that we got her from are great they do a very good job with all their birds.
lovemyGreys Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 As BMustee it depends on the individual grey & circumstances,It's early days be patient leave the door open & she will come out when she has built up some confidence
