A friend of mine has one of those macaws. From my understanding they are around, you just have to look hard for them because they are not extremly common. I've heard that because they are not very common it's best to breed them when ever possible...like the Queen of Bovaria Conure.

Thanks, I'm just looking at mini macaw as a "maybe" future bird and I've ruled out the severe(after doing alot of resources) becouse it dosen't like like the right bird for me. I'm look at the Illiger and the hahn macaw now.

Hahns are great form what I hear too!! I have a friend on another forum that has a baby Hahns and she is sooo sweet, she just said her first words the other day!! Step-up!! Its so cute!! Actually I have a link to a video of Gracie my friends Hahns!!

The only downfall to them is that they can get as loud as Sun Conures...but when you have full sized macaws that's not really an issue.:laugh: :silly: :P I tell people they are not the best to have in appartments.
