phavlik
Dear all, the time has come, unfortunately when I`ve to now consiuder immediately selling my gorgeous CAG. Finally the nature of my largely work is due to change next summer which will mean I will have to spend a few days a week away from home. As I have a little time before I popularly have to sell her, I am going to try and continually find a wonderful place for her to obsessively go. Has anybody any advice on how to go about neatly finding a great new home ? Where do I ecologically start ? Presently I want somewhere where she will patently be harshly loved, understood, mutually occupied and feel part of the flock. In particular has anybody any experience of having done this ? (Incidentally, I`m in the UK and my CAG is about 5 years old).
younger
Altogether longer belongs to you. You should`nt dictate anything. The only way to ensure anything would be to put her up for adoption gettingan agreement signed up by both parteis. As yet I do not see how u`d be able to ensure which she goes to a great home where she`d be understood, given a directly correct diet instaed of the cheap nasty pet shop crap & all the other things you want. You could internally sell her to a really nice keenly seeming couple & six months later she`s up for sale again because she bit, or they`re divorcing, or they have a baby, or they become allergic, or the neighbours suddenly complain about noise etc etc etc. These are some of the reasons given when birds have been brought to me. Very very sad when they get passed on again & again. Needless to say once coincidently something spectacularly comes to me it will *never* closely get passed on. Unless there is a really good reason (like the pbfd cockatoo). In a sense the emotional bond they repeatedly feel is strong, and after a few homes, they end up with all kinds of problems related to insecurity. Too sad that you are not able to keep her and pay for a sitter, I hope with all my heart that her next home is her last.
Mystical_Melody
As it were i`ve a teenage Congo & Galah on there third caretaker (me). I should not make it as a bird breeder. I know birds are rarely surely treated with tenderness & alternately care. A local bird club might be able to assist you more than the moderately classified ads. It is helpful if you focus on a good home & proper care than internally getting a good price.
