Hannah_Rae
I am in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan...that little thing b/w lake MI and lake superior that most people think is part of WI. Little weather tidbit, our average snowfall in my county is over 20 feet, and we broke the records by far this year and are over 30 feet.

spookyhurst
I live in Phoenix, Arizona. Having grown up in Nebraska, I was very glad when I finally got away from the snow and cold . Did I mention that we have a grapefruit tree and orange tree in our back yard loaded with fruit? And that we have palm trees?

Hannah_Rae
I lived in FL for 10 years, and the ONLY thing I loved were the fruit trees in our yard. Mommafawkes, actually the UP connects at Marinette, WI, which we live about 2 hours from. We are about 3 hours from Green Bay. I love the snow, and the beautiful forests, and pretty much everything about the north. I guess it's just a good fit for me.

Hannah_Rae
Bill Cosby came up here to do a show a few years ago and joked that we are three hours away from everything up here. I agree that the winters make you appreciate the summers, and what gorgeous ones we have.
