Very worried about my little grey, she is female who is almost two years old, will be pretty soon.

Whenever i go in hte bird room and hold her she throws one or two times, only one pellet at time, only when i hold her. Does anyone have that problem as well?

She went for last examine I think in January and they said everything looked alright pretty much.

If anyone can help, I would be most grateful.

Well when she did it, I was holding her, and gave little kiss. Then she opened her mouth couple times, and closed it, then spit up tiny little pellet.

She did this twice, only when held her. So I guess thats it.

Do they do that all ages?

thats funny, thought I read somewhere that they only did that when there older, and it males.

Guess read the wrong information or something...

Thank you!

Probably still tell her vet just in case.

Do you think thats what problem was?

thank you for telling me this, you have eased my mind a lot.

She is very dear to me, so always worry whenever I see something new or changed.

She is acting fine by all other means.

Yes our Quaker does this all the time especially around mating time for my husband lol. It is almost like her throwing up lol. It's just a sign of affection we were told by the vet. She has picked him as her mate lol.

lol thats funny your quaker does it. My quaker has not done anything like that yet, he does love his head petted.

My Grey I would hope is does not think of me as her mate since we are both females.. lol

LOL I honestly couldn't tell you if Molly (Quaker) was male or female lol. She came to us from an abused home and she was 3 years old. But it's funny cause she does that with hubby, and she even tries to rub her behind on him (his arm that is) lol Then when he puts her back in her cage she backs up to her toy and well has some fun lol. But I have read anyway that birds in general will pick someone that they look up to or want as a mate and want to be affectionate with lol. Doesn't necessarily mean the mate part, could be the mother daughter part too lol.

My sun conure, Sunny does the backing up to me thing sometimes when she is on my shoulder, she will back right up to my neck, now how would you like a bird butt shoved in your face:sick:

My brown-headed Parrot Kanye does the "I love you so much mom, let me regur. for ya" GROSS!!! LOL!! One thing I have learned that helps it to happen less often is to not make kiss noises at him!! LOL!!
