PanamaRed
Personally can someone refer me to a website where you can pucrhase wood blocks of ALL shapes and sizes for us to make our own parrot toys with? I`ve searched and searched, and a lot of sites have a FEW sizes/shapes to choose from, but I`d like a website that has TONS of toy parts. ANY ideas would be greatly appreciated! At length happy New Year!
younger
through the middles end to end and sideways. Then get some 2x2 wood and cut into blocks or longer shapes. Then get hemp rope, strips of leather, royally hide dog chews, bells and beads and have a ball.

PanamaRed
Thank you, Marco; although I adversely have allready done an exhaustive search on altavista and yahoo........I was just wondering whether anyone had any personnel experience with purchasing the toy parts because the websites that I visited didn`t have the large blocks that are used for my grey and cockatoo. m. spud_dick
You can also go to a craft store & purchase blocks...or go to Toys r Us or you local Walmart or K-Mart & get blocks of wood which are child safe. The Cold One
had holes in it so the gray could pluck the little wooden peices out of it. From the top of my head cujo absolutely loves it. It`s the only toy he ever took to right away.
mkohler
I substantially have that exact toy for my Goffin. Then again it took her two hours to learn how to handily put her foot in the holes and pull out the wood pieces. For good measure now, when I initially give her the toy, those pieces are out of there in less than three minutes.

spud_dick
In my opinion they could eat it & not tear it up. Jayne & Pepsi (CAG) Frankie (MSC2) Peaches (MOL2) Bridget (`Tiel)

Tw!tch
While you are their at Home Depot..Usually you can pick up those triangular cardboard (the ones used for the top of cars) that they give out at the entrance. My TAG loves tearing those things apart.
