Juji's talking tree

Juji is babbling like mad now. Some of her sounds are hilarious because she will start high pitched and go low and vice versa. This morning she was sitting on my should while doing dishes and she sounded like our little dogs high pitched play bark.

 

She seems to talk the most when she is on the top branch of her tree. She tries out all kinds of new sounds that she never uses anywhere else.

 

Does anyone else's grey have a special place they like to try out new sounds? Or where they are more vocal than other places?

Fawkes talks the most if she is in her cage with the door closed...so when I feel like making a video of her talking I put her in, close the door and leave the room. Usually by the time I close the door to my room she is talking!! She is such a goof!!

Josey will talk in her cage and out of it, she sits on her boing inside the cage and talks or outside on the door and jabbers away. She doesn't talk much anywhere else and is usually quiet on trips but the last one she was on she did talk a little maybe this time she will do more as she gets more used to going.

Dayo vocalizes most when sitting on top of the hanging wine rack or on top his his cage. He will go crazy withs calls and whistles if in his cage and we come in. But for the most part he does not vocalize much in his cage.

Hi Hannah, my birds in their own room just talk all the time, but Kaiti my new TAG doesnt talk outside of her cage, but boy when she;s inside she dont stop ! :laugh:

So she does talk, just not outside of her cage, I'll bet she does later on after she settles in good.

Yeah, once she knows she is home for good she will start talking.

 

Elmo thinks the bathroom is his concert hall. Whenever I put him on the shower rod he starts making every noise he can think of.

Juji likes the bathroom too, which is hard on my ears b/c it echoes.
