Marlene
We have all seen the sites that tell us that greys can live up to 60, 75 or even 80 years of age. However, the oldest bird I have ever come accross was 29 - she was the pet of the breeder that I got Gus from. I thought it would be interesting just to do a snap poll. How old is your bird? Tari
Think we did this once? Anyway my TAG is around 9 years old. But I have an amazon that is extamated to be around 27ish. All we know for sure is he is wild caught. And my green quaker is 15ish. He had at least four owners before me so it is just a guess from what we do know about him. I am thinking he may be older his color is starting to fade. This happens to older birds I have noticed that are on the parrot farm where I work. Oh and this is Mama T. She is around 70 years old. She is on the farm where I work.

Post edited by: Tari, at: 2008/02/19 20:

BMustee
Yeah, we did do this before... Anyways, Elmo will be 11 months on the 27. I have 2 cats, Kitty is 3 and Angel is 19...I got her when I was 4. There are a couple Macaws at my work that are older. Pattie, Sasha, Omar and Sidmar are all in their mid to late 30's.
