Teluhlasmom Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 are mutations more common in cags or tags?
Connie Posted February 16, 2008 Author Posted February 16, 2008 I don't really know, but from the pictures here... only one is a TAG.
judygram Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Those are some amazing red factor greys, thanks Connie for posting them for us to enjoy.
DUKEdevils36 Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Very interesting pictures Connie. Thanks for posting
LisaM Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Does anyone know if this kind of coloration generally stays through the first molt into adulthood or is it often something seen in babies but then standard coloration comes in as they mature? They are beautiful! I've never seen anything quite like these! Lisa
MommaFawkes Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 I believe that the coloration stay with them through adulthood too. Though I am not positve. I just love them all!!! YW Connie;)
Marlene Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 These birds are awesome. I just love the white ones. however, no bird will ever be as gorgeous as my baby - (parents!!!) and he's just a common CAG. I saw some pics in a birdy mag a few months back of those wonderful reds but the white is new to me. Thanx so much for sharing them with us.
Talon Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 These pictures are just unbelievable. I've never seen anything like them before. B)
liuchino Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 (edited) Dear all I have problem in the Connie's photograph, What kind of the Mutation about this African Grey? Albino or Lutino, and why? Thanks lot. Edited September 23, 2010 by liuchino
schtickl Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 My cag has a little extra red on her feet - not much but I noticed it.
Birdnut Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Hi schtickl! Welcome! Why don't you introduce yourself in the welcome room and tell us more about your baby. My Moussa has pinkish red feathers around his legs and his bottom, so I guess he has a touch of the red factor. I have also been wondering if this will molt out or if it will stay.
