Pegasus
OK all.........Rocco has entered the building He is eating a small piece of apple now...but sat on my shoulder had had a good head massage  Two questions ; 1. When my wife talks to him he bows down (wings go a little extended and fluffs up a little bit). 2. Sometimes he gives a very soft sort of coeing sound (any ideas?) Pictures to follow:woohoo:
Tari
My Que does both of those. The bowing down fluffing if the bird is not growling is a come hither kind of thing. Cooing is what greys do.

Hannah_Rae
Wow! Congrats!!! I was posting just hours after Juji arrived too...I can't believe it's been almost 3 weeks. I would just keep trying. If the bird always flies back to you, have her spend some good one on one time when you are not in the room. I am blessed that Juji has adjusted to both of us evenly, although I have a feeling that if Kaleb were around more, she would be a total Daddy's girl. judygram
Rocco has probably chosen you as his favorite and there is not much you can do about that, but let your wife be the one to give him treats and have her talk to him so that he will come to be more accepting of her. But he has just come into your life so give him some time, when you work with greys you have to have plenty of time and patience, you can't rush it.
