Ronda477
Right behind her cage is some candle holders that I have hanging on the wall. Don't worry I don't use them anymore lol. But she loves to play with them! And there is a couple in there that she was trying to bath in her water! If I would have had the camera set right, the might not have turned out soo blurry, but thought I would share! Oh and the one with her on the chair, with me and her toy, is where we are making progress!!! She at least sits with me to pose, and play lol.

Post edited by: TalonSis, at: 2008/02/13 16:
perfectparrots
Fantastic pictures, what a beautiful baby grey. I hope you don't mind me mentioning, please be careful with bells. I had a problem where one of fine chewed the clanger out of a bell into small 3 pieces. i was so worried they could have ingested a small peice of metal. Just a suggestion maybe get a stainless steel bell. In the UK we have something called the Indesructibell. I think you can get them in the US. It is a bell incased in thick plastic. I hope you don't mind me mentioning this. She is such a beautiful parrot.
TalonSis
Great pictures Ronda! I'm glad your making progress with sweetheart. What was your camera set at? Maybe if you changed to a different setting you could get them sharper. Melissa
Ronda477
Melissa they were set at the auto on those ones. I have some features that I really don't know about and the book doesn't tell me much. I have these options iso- high sensitivity-shoot without flash in low light reducing blur portrait- focus tightly on subject Advanced sport shooting-set focus in anticipation of subject moving twilight portrait- shoots portrait in low light with flash landscape- shoot landscapes with distance twilight- shoot low light scene with out flash movie mode manual exposure shooting-? Aperture priority shooting? Shutter speed priority shooting? Program Auto- auto exposure with adj. settings And no perfectparrots I don't mind at all you saying that. I do look at the bell really good before I buy a toy, not to mention she only and ONLY gets this toy when she is sitting by me. It's my bribe to get her to sit with me cause I have had major troubles with her. So she is 100% supervised with this toy. All her other toys as you can see in the other pics are wood and rope and plastic.

judygram
Thanks for sharing some pictures of Sweetheart, she is a lovely looking Tag, I guess we will be seeing a lot more of her now that you have a camera. Josey has that indestructibell that you mention Tracey and she loves to bang that thing around in her cage, she truly cannot tear it up.
TalonSis
Hi Ronda, it looks like you'd want to use the advanced sport shooting, or Shutter priority mode for the ones where he's moving alot. Shutter priority is you can adjust the shutter to how fast it closes. You can check out the members photography thread to read about some more if you want.
