Breeder/Bird Shop Recomendation Raleigh/Durham

Hello,

I am from the Raleigh/Durham North Carolina area

and am in the information gathering phase of a potential African Grey purchase. Does anyone have a recommendation on good breeders/Bird Shops in the Raleigh/Durham area or surrounding area?

Try bird breeder and Plz remember taking on a bird is a lot of work, and a lot of info! also ask a lot of question, was this bird handfeed, did it play with other bird, was it other kid, and other animal. All these question and more!

Mavus you can go to this link here to find a breeder. It gives you ratings of the breeder. I don't know of any myself in NC. I'm very glad you are doing research though first that is always a good thing to do. It's better to do some research on them instead of going out and just getting one and than deciding that's not what you wanted. And for a bird shop, just make sure that the sales associates are friendly and knowledgeable and the place is clean and so are their cages! That is a huge huge deal when buying from a pet shop!
