I brought my Grey to Atlanta with me for a long-term work contract.

 

Does anyone know a great bird shop where I can buy her a bigger, nice-quality cage and some high-quality seed?

Why don't you search the internet for such places in Atlanta or look in the phone book yellow pages for places.

Do I ever!!! I'm in Atlanta too!! go to www.fancyfeathers.net it is just outside the perimeter. He sells cages cheaper than anything I have found. I believe he is open up till 3pm during the week and until noon on Saturday. He also carries Zupreem if you like it and many toys - again much cheaper than anywhere else. I also can give you three good avian vet references as well - depending where you are.

Thanks! I did do a search for a parrot place, but all I got were breeders... and pet stores that obviously wouldn't have quality parrot goodies.

 

I'm lucky that Shamelessmuse is in ATL... perfect tip. I'll definitely go to Fancy Feathers!

Oh, your welcome!! I got my paradise cage there for about half what I could find it online and other places!

Animal Atlanta in Marietta (75N to exit 263, go W onto 120 and it's right in the first kroger shopping center) has lots of stuff, all different kinds of feed, but their prices aren't the best. I overpaid for my cage there, but it's where I got my bird. They have lots of exotics on hand to play with usually too.
