Woody6 Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 http://www.kingscages.com/pluck_no_more.php has anyone tried the pluck no more product and if so how did it work?
lovemyGreys Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 I haven't seen this product before, i know there are many miracle products out there that claim to stop plucking !! It has the some good testimonies on the site, Personally i feel resolving plucking issues go a lot deeper than a miracle spray ! but that's only my personal opinion.
Woody6 Posted February 1, 2008 Author Posted February 1, 2008 I appreciate your opinion! I was just wondering because greys are known to be pluckers.
lovemyGreys Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Any breed of bird can have plucker's, There is generally an under lying reason as to why they pluck, medical condition, poor diet, stress, lack of stimulation, new home.etc.. the list is endless Unfortunately the hardest part for owners is determimg the reason behind the plucking.
chapala Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 When the product first came out, I read comments from quite a number of people who tried it out. A very high percentage of them said it didn't work at all. I haven't used it myself, so this is second hand information. Reta
deedee Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 i have tried the one of the stop plucking sprays and yes it did stop her but as soon as i stopped using it she just started right up again i have been trying for nearly a year now i think it is her diet cause i have tried everything i can think of but unfortunaty she wont eat fruit or veg but i keep trying and maybe one day she will decide that it is nice to eat
birdman Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 I used Pluck No More with great results. In about 6 weeks my Congo's chest was almost fully feathered again. One piece of advice though check different websites for the best price. I ended up getting it from www.superparrots.com for about $26.
