Marlene Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 I have an unweaned baby of 20 weeks (check out my post under food) that is really chatty. Whilst he's chatting he adds a number of whines - very much like a puppy's whine. He does this at any time - even shortly after a feed. Is this simply part of his vocalization or does it mean something?
Woody6 Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 it sounds like a normal part of the birds vocalization. My birds make all kinds of strange noises, whisles, and whines with occasional growls too. They are usually pretty content and happy when they are making these noises. My birds will scream (squak) when they are very upset about something or frightened. Maybe someone else will have more valuable information.
danmcq Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 I agree with woody, they make all types of sounds and semi-vocalizations at times. Cute aren't they. :-)
lovemyGreys Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Sounds very normal baby vocalization, they make all kinds of wonderful gurggles etc..
