christoph29
As long as he has toys to keep him busy. I leave the radio on too. Just be careful. Your Alfie might start telling you the morning traffic report and weather!

lovemyGreys
Yep as Judy says stop worrying, if you have a routine stick to it & Alfie will be fine, plenty of toys in his cage & a good idea to alternate the tv & radio.
BMustee
Yeah, I work 2 jobs and he is fine being at home alone when I'm gone. Mondays and Fridays I'm gone from 6am till 9 at night. It's actually better for them to be alone at times. They won't be independent if your with them 24/7. I leave the radio on a few days a weeks and he has full view of the finch cages from where his cage it so it's like "bird TV" for him.
danmcq
Yes, plenty of Toys, fresh food, water and a radio or TV going should keep him happy and entertained while your at work. Our Grey is home from 6am to 5pm alone most weekdays. :-)
kllorio
When we first got my little dog, we had her in a playpen while I was at work. I put it in front of the computer with a webcam on. So while I was at work I could watch her. Don't know if that helps, but it put my mind to rest watching her sleep. :silly:
Laurie
Personally, I think they're fine home alone as part of the routine. I notice on the weekends when we're all home, Klaus will spend part of the time just chilling out in or on his cage, not doing much of anything. They like their "down time", too!
