Yeah I am still a little bit scared of Macaws so I don't really try to hold them. haha They are pretty though
judygram
Jimmy I think Tari was referring to the cockatoo that is plucking and looks like a scar on its chest, probably from mutilating itself and now feathers won't grow on that patch of skin, but it is a sweet looking bird. jimmycoop2005
Ohhh okay, sorry I couldn't pick up on that. Yes he was ignored and started plucking for attention then they rescued him and are in the process of helping him. They said he actually looks a lot better than he did. annmarie73
Poor birds. I hope someone educates them on the over abundance of birds and the great need for bird rescue. Bird breeding is completely senseless, except if done to preserve an endangered species. Just do a simple Google search and see how these birds yank out their own feathers, because they are forced to live so unnaturally. I hope they make bird breeding illegal. It is a blight on humanity. So cruel and so senseless.

siobha9
Annmarie do you realise that when you make comments like that you are alienating yourself from most of the members here? As a very high percentage of us got our greys from breeders as chicks. And some of us are also breeders? You have said that you hope breeding will be banned in almost all of your posts, we heard you the first time and the second and third time... leave it now eh? lovemyGreys
I couldnt agree more on what Siobhan,Judy & Dan ( in previous posts ) have said. Annmarie If you have come here to dictate your point of view to us all,im afraid you will get a very hostile welcome from the majority of our members. Everyone is entitled to their own personal opinion but do not post yours continually without substantial facts & figures to substantiate it
