sundarg Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 My name is Sunny am 20yrs old brought an African Grey Parrot 2 days ago already it is loving and caring i want the parrot to be able to sit on my hand does anyone know what i can do anyone got any tips for me

Is this a baby grey or an older bird and what is it's name? Do you have any other birds in your household?Just a little information so we can get to know you better. sundarg Posted January 3, 2008 Author Posted January 3, 2008 The Parrot is around 8/9months old The Parrots name is "Amy" and shes a Female This is my first thing i have had a parrot when i was a kid i had a budgie but parrots are way cooler

judygram Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Yes they are and greys are way cooler than even parrots but they are different from other parrots. I think if you read thru many of the threads you will find out just how complex they can be but very rewarding to have as pets and companions.

I spent 4 days as a guest just going through all the threads that seemed relevant to me for my relationship with my CAG. Stepping up is easily answered for you. lynnr Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 hi sunny, i am also new to the world of CAG's i bought one of a breeder around 2-3 weeks ago, she is 13 weeks old and is quite a character. you will have loads of fun with amy aswell as a good companion. speak soon. B)
