OK, Smarty pants. Books, Books, I buy mine with a cd to read TO me. I read the whole bible in 17 hrs, well I heard it from James Earl Jones. I am cool though, I only buy unabridged. Let them talk for their money. Godfather was great. I like reading in my JET TUBE and listen with my eys closed. The only thing bad is if a fall asleep on a good chapter.

I read about a book a week - WAY too many to list here! But of course I love to gab about books and learn about "undiscovered" authors in these little exchanges. Right now I'm reading "Speaks the Nightbird" by Robert McCammon. Very engrossing - I've kept the lamp on too late many a night with this one! I picked it up at the library because there's an endorsement from Stephen King (my hero) on it. If it's good enough for Steve, it's certainly good enough for me! Anyway, it's set it 1699 and it's about a witch trial.

As for movies, I don't really get to watch many. The last one I watched was "The Departed." Pretty good. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any I want to see at the moment...

Last book I read was from Hitler, Mein Kampf. Trying to understand who he was from his own words. Tough reading, but well worth it. Most of my reading over the last 30 yrs has been self-learning, towards my becoming better at who I am, and hoe to better my knowledge of my perfection. Poetry is my favorite, because of the power of words used and the Meanings of their thoughts.

I read a lot of Asian writing; they are so wonderful in their philosophies.

One of my favorite books I read was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, by J.K. Rowling. :) (Finished it in 9 hours straight) I love to read though, so I'll usually blow through a book in a couple days. Makes it tough for my mom to buy books for me. I also really liked Jurassic Park and the Lost World. My top favorite books overall, have to be Inkheart and Inkspell, by Cornelia Funke.(I can't wait for the 3rd one, Inkdeath.) And also The Thief Lord, which is also by Cornelia Funke.

birdmom, I just saw the movie The Hoax in my ethics class at school. It was pretty good. I want to see the newest National Treasure movie, I loved the 1st one.

I like James Patterson, his crime books. I am reading Double Cross right now.

As for movies, I like them all. We just got done watching "Awake" today. That was pretty good. We have over 200 movies in our library including movies still at the theaters hehehe..
