Hi all, I thought of another great name for the little lost birdie: please post your vote or make suggestions.

i was thinking along dans lines, of something native to africa and meaningful, and found:

 

Jabali (JAH-bah-lee) which means "strong as a rock" which this little beauty has to be to have survived in the british wilderness for so long (my favourite)

 

or

 

Dafina (DAH-fee-nah) which means "valuable, precious) which this bird should be to somebody, poor thing

I like hope it seems to fit the m.o.

I gave this suggestion for renaming Indie, and will suggest it again here: Trooper. He/she certainly is one to have survived so long.

spookyhurst im with you, Trooper is a great name & reflects this birds determination to survive here in the UK, but i am still totally amazed he is still flying free, i will put the word out to a few people maybe they can post on some UK sites
