Kaeurl
Can someone please look at this link and tell me if this cage would be appropriate for a Congo? http://cgi.ebay.com/Bird-Parrot-cage-Macaw-Cockatoo-African-Grey-Q32-3223-S_W0QQitemZ150193058612QQihZ005QQcategoryZ46289QQcmdZViewItem I want to make sure I get him enough room...and I really like the removable play top until I can get a separate playstand for downstairs. Thanks! Carol
Barbie36
Hi- It looks ok but I sometimes worry about buying a cage on Ebay since you dont know what brand they are and with all the lead problems etc lately with paint its good to be cautious. The size is good for an african grey of course 36 wide is even better but its a good size and considered the minimum for an african grey congo.I didnt see anything that says its playtop is removeable. I would check that out. I saw removable bottom tray etc but not playtop but i didnt read it good. Check out www.queencitypets.com for great low prices and free shipping on HQ bird cages. He has great prices and they are good quality cages. Also, www.hgbirdcages.com and right now at www.futurepet.com there is a sale on their prevue pet parrot cages and I mean these are marked down so low and with shipping they are still cheaper than many other advertised prices on these cages. Prevue pet is a great brand with safe paint etc and good quality. Im thinking of buying the playtop one its 36x24x36 interior and 66inches tall overall. Its nice, I have seen it at a pet store. Right now with shipping its 314 I think but anyway there are also great cages on the two sites I mentioned. Some people are happy with bird cages from ebay though. Somebody on here just wrote about demson bird cages on ebay and she said they are good or maybe its desmond. She has a 32 by 23 dome shape. Kibibi
The size is minimal but adequate. Other than that it looks like a really nice cage.
