dblhelix Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 These things are upsetting...I hope they find Franklin. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22024458/
lovemyGreys Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 That's sad i hate to hear of lost parrots, fingers crossed here.
Makena Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Awww... that is so sad! That happened on Oahu not too long ago.. It was all over the news here. Luckily because of all the media the bird was found and returned to it's owner. There is hope!!!
Guest briansmum Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 aww i really hope franklin is found. how on earth does a parrot "dissapear" from a boarding facility. i smell a rat.
nevjoe Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 This subject keeps coming up much too much lately. What a shame and so sad to hear this news. I hope you the best of luck in finding him. Joe
judygram Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Thanks, Mark for sharing this story with us, its a shame that people will do such things and I hope Franklin is found, he and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
ziggy Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 What is going on lately it seem like only bad news. With the holidays right around the corner we should be reading nice treads. It seems like an epidemic or something. I hope they find him.
BMustee Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Oh man...I would be devastated if someone lost my bird!
danmcq Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 That is upsetting. My question is; They do not quote or say anything about the boarding facility and it's responsibility to ensure the pets kept there are safe. They are the ones ultimately responsible for that Grey and should be investigating how a Grey was stolen from their facility. I hope they update this article. It will be interesting to follow.
birdgranna Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 I pay a person I know to move into my house when we are away. The best scenario I think. On the other hand I do board periodically here and would be hard pressed to find how I could "lose" someones bird.
