KevinD Posted May 29, 2021 Posted May 29, 2021 Life is sometimes boring, and repetitive, and sometimes you might might be going through the motions. If you live each day as if it were your last, things might get interesting 4
Talon Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 Such a good reminder we need to hear . We get so busy in life, we forget the important things. never knowing if this is our last day 1
LNCAG Posted June 3, 2021 Posted June 3, 2021 Important advice for our parrots too. I always fear my grey will get bored and depressed -- so I try to shake things up a little for him too. But you know greys - some changes are great and some changes upset them. My job is to find the right balance for my guy! 2
JennS Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 I tried to shake things up for Vannah recently with some more challenging foraging toys. She was not having it! She never got a bald spot, but the feathers in her cage were enough to give me a scare. I took the new toy out and she settled down. She'd never reacted to a toy that way, but I'd never hidden her almond from her before... 1
Timbersmom Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 I have to be really careful when introducing new toys, starting at a distance from the cage, moving closer over time etc. Such odd little creatures.
JennS Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 I'll have to try it. I hope she doesn't hold a grudge against the toy, and I can get her to like it. 1
