Tari Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Careful as they get older if you let them stay in together to much they well bond to each other and not you.
lovemyGreys Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 pleased to hear they are getting on, a good idea is to spend individual time with them to,i do that with my three so they dont loose their tamness & bond i have with each of them
danmcq Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Thanks for the update Shaz. They sound like they are getting along with each other wonderfully :-)
judygram Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Thats great that the two are getting along good and thanks for updating us.
shazbaby36 Posted November 24, 2007 Author Posted November 24, 2007 i allways get freddie out first and cluddle him and he sits with me then i do barney why freddie is playing on the play stand
judygram Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 You are right to get Freddie out first, he was the first in your house and No 1 bird, you have to follow the pecking order.
shazbaby36 Posted November 26, 2007 Author Posted November 26, 2007 what do u mean when they r older they wont be loving towards us any more they r only in cage togther when they go to bed or if i go out anywhere other wise they r out with me freddie plays on the play stand and barney plays on the cage
judygram Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 I think she is referring to the fact that a single grey will bond with the human owner but if you have two they may bond to each other and not have as close a relationship with you. And she may be referring to the fact that as babies they tend to be more cuddly and then as they age, they become more independent and are not as willing to cuddle but it doesn't mean they love you any less.
jimmycoop2005 Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 That's terrific, post some pictures please
