Tribute to Alex in Bird Talk

I just received my latest issue of Bird Talk magazine for January 2008 today and it has a special tribute to Alex and some good photos of him inside. Like the Playboy magazine, it has a foldout photo section in the middle and Alex is in the centerfold.

 

I know a lot of you probably subscribe to this magazine and will see the article but this thread is for those who do not and maybe you can go out and get it for it is a good fitting tribute to Alex.

Kristin, Bird Talk is a wonderful magazine that is all about birds, has articles, pictures, and upcoming events around the US like bird shows and conventions. I would highly recommend any bird lover to subscribe to it.

I read the article a couple nights ago. He sure had a sense of humor! What a special bird Alex was!

The statement that had the most impact on me in this wonderful tribute to Alex in BirdTalk was:

 

"He had a way of studying the people in his life and coming up with a quick conclusion of exactly what he thought of you; more than that, he seemed to truly know you - all about you - in a glance. So often it almost felt as if he was reading your innermost thoughts"

 

I have seen this in Dayo and other Greys. They are much deeper in understanding and awareness than I believe we can ever comprehend or appreciate the depth to which it goes.
