Makena isn't really saying words yet, but he is sure as heck trying!! I thought I would share some videos of him "trying" to chat with ya'll! He is 6 1/2 months old

Ok that's not fair lol I just watched the second one and he really makes a ton more noises than mine does. She is still getting used to us though but she loved to hear yours on the computer lol.

He and I have watched many greys talking on YouTube, but this is the first time he's been this interested. He was mesmerized, and chattering right back. I think he's in love...

Now that was cool!!! I have seen the vids of them talking (greys) talking and love them but its just plain cool when they get going on a streak doin their thing like that.

Very cool videos of Makena!!

 

Makena and Dayo are about the same age...Dayo does the same thing and pretty much the same noises and gurgles/sounds.

oh he's such a handsome little boy! he has beautiful definition in his feathers. he's really getting the hang of those vocal chords. some of his chirps sound like other bird calls, has he picked up noises from the birds outside? he's so well behaved for the camera too.
