Half TAG Half CAG babies?

Hello!

 

Does anyone have information on a 1/2 TAG, 1/2 CAG parrot? I have a source that has both a TAG and CAG that breed accidentally and now have eggs.

Would there be anything to watch out for if purchasing one of these birds, i.e. - health concerns?

I do not specifics but in most of nature a hybrid is often stronger health wise than it's parents.

Dave007 is a breeder & usually pretty knowledgeable about this stuff. He's said they don't cross. Wondering if either that breeder's confused about who's actually the Daddy. Or, if the hen got confused into laying sterile eggs. Love to hear how this goes. Please let us know, okay.

I have 8 year old TAG female and a 6 year old CAG male. They are out of their cages together all the time. They could care less about breeding with each other. She is the boss leader and he the follower.

I've never heard of them breeding either. I'd guess that the female was stimulated to lay, and the eggs are sterile. I, too, am curious about what Dave has to say.

As odd as it sounds there is a hybrid between a Roseate Cockatoo and a Cockatiel in Australia back in 2006 if I remember correctly. Surely a Grey/other Grey cross might be possible not trying to advocate for one just thinking what might be possible.
