kins2321@yahoo.com Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I read in the paper today, how a juvenile went into a family's home, found a bb gun and shot their pets. A tinneh grey, two other birds, a Lizard. I can't express, how angry I am! I won't even tell you what I would do, if they were MY pets! I have been so upset all day. My co-workers knew of this, and hoped I didn't read the paper today. They knew how I would react. Can you imagine, if this was YOUR child that did this? Can you imagine the pain, this nine year old owner is going thru? I am HORRIFIED! These beautiful animals destroyed for no reason! I will be following this story closely in Webster, NY. A simple slap on the wrists, isn't going to cut it. Nancy

When it's found, a huge A* is being placed next to your name for showing serious empathy for the creatures who inhabit the earth. Believe me, not everyone has empathy for anything.
kins2321@yahoo.com Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 I am NOT going to let it go! A simple " slap on the wrist", is not acceptable... I will contact our police department tomorrow to get more info. This kid is a sociopath, needs to be punished to the full extent of the law. Nancy
Winston Destroyer Of Toys Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 The really sad thing is this sort of stuff doesn't even surprise me any more. Disgust yes, surprise no... I think some kids (and adults for that matter) actually need a good beating now and then.
Greywings Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Showing no respect for life at all. A very sad event tragic for the family and the critters, heart breaking. The individual who did this should have to get shot with his or her own weapon wherever it would be the most painful. Public shaming and restitution should also be required, you cannot bring back what is lost but you can exact payment. Unlawful entry, destruction of "property" vandalism-hope the parents understand how horrid this crime is and that it can lead to human deaths if continuing down this path of darkness.
kins2321@yahoo.com Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 Greywings... I was thinking the same! I know that is horrible to think this way. I contacted our local humane society, they will be encouraging charging animal cruelty. Nancy 1
Talon Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 There are some states that now have an animal abuse registry just like a sex offender registry. Also any states have made it a federal offense to abuse animals. I hope all other states follow suit.
kathyth Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 This is beyond awful! If that kid was mine he would be wearing cement shoes. Very sad for the pets and the poor family. Hopefully he will be charged with a felony and not a slap on the wrist.
SullysMom Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 It sickens me beyond belief how some people are capable to hurting animals. My heart goes out to the poor family. I can't even imagine how they are feeling. I would lose my mind and probably be arrested...so so sad
