birdhouse
My neighbors have a gorgeous grape arbor that never, ever gets sprayed. They gave it a big hair cut the other day & gave me a very large, very unruly bunch of the trimmings. Any ideas how to clean & store it?

Acappella
How thick are the trimmings? Branches that could be perches, or stringers like people use to make wreaths? If the later, soak them in a laundry tub or other deep vessel and form into actual wreaths. Then you can hang them up to store. What are you going to make with it? birdhouse
Whatever's easiest & still fun for the fids to destroy. They're not big enough for perches. I figured craft project material; wreaths, maybe rudimentary weaving. Emphasis on "project", though. They're just a massive tangle of vines. I don't think there is any convenient way to wash and dry them. Near as I can tell the choices are use them wet, then let dry or make whatever, then clean it. But I don't see an easy way, either way & I guess they're going to have to stay in a pile outside until I get some time for them. Thinking this may have been one of "those" bright ideas.
