SRSeedBurners
Looks excellent. You'll probably find they have a lot less energy to be hoodlums when they are inside. We've gotten to where we don't like bad weather days because we know we're in for high energy destructos. After a day in the aviary all they want to do is sit there and stare. murfchck
Really? Can you tell Bongo that please? Lol after all the work we did i had just put them down for bed and we went out back with our well deserved beverages and sat down. Hubby asked if i had put them to bed and i said yes. He then asked me why there was a bird flying around the kitchen! Bongo got out of his cage and was having a blast!

murfchck
Not sure where we were talking about the bull frogs but guess what?! They are killing us, we can not even go outback in the evening and talk because we can't hear over them. They have moved into the moat and brought every family member they have. I ask the greys every night to please please please not learn that sound. lol One or two are okay but any more than that and they become really annoying! lol
Greywings
When our kids were young the house behind us was deserted and the backyard pool became a swamp heavy with thick floating algae. A bullfrog moved in and sang every night and our son was disturbed and a bit frightened of the sound as his bedroom faced the "swamp". Some one gave a us a big soft frog toy and we put it on his bed to protect him-somehow that worked. A few years later people bought the house & renovated both house and pool. They had many parties back there. Meanwhile we have built a fishpond in our yard and yes we inherited the bullfrog. He was singing the frog song while they partied and in the morning we found cans, full cans of Budweiser in our back yard. There used to be a commercial on TV where the frogs made the bud-wei-ser with croaks I think that may have influenced the guests.

murfchck
No, thank heavens! I am safe for now. lol Unless they are just waiting to catch me off guard. Ixta amazes me how quickly she picks up and can do pitch perfect mimics. We picked up Vincent Friday and got back home by about 6pm, Saturday he was outside with the macaws, the greys stayed in. Last night I put everyone up for dinner and heard Vincent doing his little meeping scream in the living room. I was shocked he managed to get out of his cage and beat me back into the main room. I went in to see what part of his cage I needed to re-secure and he was in his cage eating. It was Ixta making his noise. lol
