BaileysPapa
My Bailey talks all day long. To himself, to his toys, to anyone who's home, etc. Do any of the other birds learn to talk from him? Of course not. Though, just like kids, he picks up everyone else's bad habits. Now, he does the Lovebird screech, the Cockatiel shriek, and a loud Parrotlet peep. And often they'll do it either in concert together, or in a back and forth contest. Ah, the "joys" of a mixed flock!
SRSeedBurners
I hear you! GreycieMae likes to go along the counter and slam plates, push anything over the edge and 'angrily' shakes plastic lids. Our Jardines has now picked up the exact same behavior. It's as if she taught him how to be a counter top thug. GreycieMae has picked up the 'Angry Caique' from Toby. Hard to describe unless you've had a Caique before.
kins2321@yahoo.com
They DO learn from each other! They argue, disagree, but in the end... they love each other! At least, thats what worked for my flock. Nancy
Greywings
Whisper has perfected the Cockatiel whistle so well the Tiel in the bathroom who is recovering from surgery responds every time. She has also perfected the pop top sound, Sparrow talk, human sneeze, poring any liquid and opening of a velcro closure. Not into speech but great at sound effects.
