SRSeedBurners Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Jeez. And I worry about my brats being cold in their 65 degree room.
Luvparrots Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I have been watching the live feed on this nest. One eagle (I know it has to the female) sat on the nest through a cold and stormy day and night. She had to go find the other eagle to come in and exchange places. This is twice that I know of that she has had to leave the nest to locate the truant parent. If I could I would slap that one parent upside the head!!!!!!
Luvparrots Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 If you are interested in a Georgia cam of hatched eaglets try: http://www.berry.edu/eaglecam/
birdhouse Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 I guess they must be adapted to it or they would have died out in that region. But all I can think looking at that pic is how harsh nature is.
