Kizzybird
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/10/20/dancing-cockatoo-king-o-best-friends-animal-society_n_5996036.html?utm_hp_ref=good-news When I opened up the Huff Post Good News today, this was the first article. Make sure you watch the video of him singing and dancing. So cute! What do you think about their statement that he pulled his feathers out by his feet? murfchck
I had seen that video before and it is what allowed me to know that Koko was singing and not suffering! Boy, they love to sing but really can't carry a tune at all, lol.
Greywings
Yes they can pull feathers with those talented feet, I have seen it done. Vocal talent in Cockatoos is not tuneful for sure.
Acappella
To be fair to King O, the humans weren't much more tuneful than he was lol.

SRSeedBurners
Wow - poor thing. I'm glad he's found a happy home at the sanctuary. I recall seeing a cockatoo in a store we went to once. He immediately hopped on my wife and started telling her he loved her. I watched her melt right in front of my eyes. That's their downfall, they have that immediate attractive quality about them and then you get them home and have to deal with the parrot in them.
