ccilia5767
I read alot that I should teach Churchill to "step up" but I cant find find any suggestion on how to do that. So far I only open the cage in the morning, and he'll come out. Whenever he wants he comes flying to me to play, cuddle etc. Sometimes he will come when I call him but he won't step up when he sits on soemthing and I want to pick him up. If I want to move him I have to pick him up. I do it like this: I slide my hand under his chest in between his legs. I am afraid to hurt him when I would attempt to grab him the way the ppl at the petstore did. The way I do it works fine for us. Is it too early to try to tech him, since I have him only for 4 days. So far I let him do what he wants- example: he comes out when he wants, he comes to see me when he wants etc. Only at night I put him in the cage, that is so far the only thing he doesn't like. ccilia5767
okay now that I had more time to look at this forum I read something abaut it. I also got a nice video that shows me how to teach different things. Right now we are trying the target thing. What is strage he will fly on my arm when called, which is explained long after the step up. He does follow everywhere I go. Unless my daughter is araund lol
